For me, poetry is a situation - a state of being, a way of facing life and facing history.
The will is not free - it is a phenomenon bound by cause and effect - but there is something behind the will which is free.
The deepest wounds we all carry are locked in our subconscious (out of our awareness). Deep memories and subtle impressions, from unfinished experience, rooted in the past. The pain from those wounds comes to revisit, to block and paralyse us in the moment called now. We all know it comes without warning - "Why am I feeling this way, I didn't mean to do that, I don't know what made me say that." Healing does not mean finding and treating every single inner scar which sends it message to haunt us. It means going even deeper, past those wounds, beyond those distant memories and recordings of unfinished business, to the core of our self, to the heart of our spirit, where we find the light and warmth of our own core qualities of love and peace. They are eternally present within us. They are what we need to heal all our inner wounds. That's why this kind of deep healing is called spirituality and not therapy.

Sending good wishes to others acts like sunlight, filtering into the dark corners of their mind and lightening their burden.

So then, on top of that, we don't have any spiritual leaders. We don't trust religion. We don't trust politicians, and we're given drugs and sex and television to pacify us.
The only way we'll get freedom for ourselves is to identify ourselves with every oppressed people in the world. We are blood brothers to the people of Brazil, Venezuelan Haiti and Cuba.
Character cannot be developed in ease and quiet. Only through experience of trial and suffering can the soul be strengthened, ambition inspired, and success achieved.
What I know for sure is that what you give comes back to you.
For every sale you miss because you're too enthusiastic, you will miss a hundred because you're not enthusiastic enough.
Common sense is the measure of the possible; it is composed of experience and prevision; it is calculation applied to life.
